Australian Portable Camps

When Australian Portable Camps (APC) required an urgent solution for a vehicle quarantine and fumigation shelter, they turned to UFS.

The unique structure was developed with the use of pre-engineered ‘Rapid-Span’ container mounted structures. Using a double stacked container option, and accessories to include a partial end-wall and weather curtains, a custom 10m wide x 60m long structure was designed.

Open gaps of 12 and 6 metres were allowed for on the right hand wall of the structure to enable vehicle entry and exit access, and a weather curtain system adopted to enclose all internal and open sections of the structure as necessary.

Applying innovative techniques, a fully functional quarantine shelter system was created suitably adapted to the requirements of APC.
